towing a trailer you change the handling characteristics
of the tow vehicle. Conditions you may encounter can
cause sudden trailer sway. When used properly, the
Eaz-Lift Weight Distributing Hitch and Sway Control
dampen and reduce trailer sway, and by redistributing
trailer tongue weight reduce unsafe towing vehicle
handling. IMPORTANT: Short wheel base vehicles may induce sway when towing a trailer. USE EXTREME CAUTION. To determine whether or not a particular tow vehicle and trailer combination is suitable, you should always refer to the driver's manual or user's manual provided by the vehicle and trailer manufacturers and seek the recommendations and advice of the trailer dealer. The United States Department of Transportation, the American Automobile Association, and various recreational vehicle associations and RV magazines also offer good advice on safe trailer towing practices. LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY Eaz-Lift Spring Corporation warrants its products against defects in material an workmanship under normal use and service, ordinary wear and tear excepted, from the first date of purchase at retail for the ownership life of the original purchaser. If any of these products is defective, it will be replaced or repaired by your local dealer or any Eaz-Lift Spring Corporation plant listed when returned with transportation charges prepaid.* If the defect was caused by damage resulting from improper installation, alteration or unreasonable use, including loading the product beyond the factory rated load capacity, Eaz-Lift Spring Corporation shall not be required to replace or repair such product. This warranty does not include charges for labor nor does it include transportation charges for returning the product to the customer. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON ANY EAZ-LIFT PRODUCT SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE LENGTH OF TIME THE PRODUCT IS OWNED BY THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER, EAZ-LIFT SPRING CORPORATION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON ANY EAZ-LIFT PRODUCT. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, AND DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. This warranty is designed and intended to fully comply with the requirements of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and all regulations issued by the Federal Trade Commission in connection therewith. It is not intended to violate any State Law or regulation containing more stringent requirements, and such requirements automatically become part of this warranty insofar as required by that act. The owner has available the legal remedies provided by the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
